Saturday auction to benefit Friends

WHEN: Saturday Aug. 9th @ 4 PM
WHERE: Copake Auction House, Route 23B, Copake

This Saturday at Copake Auction House, Seth and Michael Fallon will conduct a charity auction which will benefit Friends of Hudson and several other nonprofit groups, such as Habitat for Humanity.

For the past several weeks, members have been donating items to this auction on Friends of Hudson’s behalf -- which will receive every dollar earned through the auction of those items donated for our benefit.

The auctions at Copake are always great fun. You can enjoy the auction, bid on great items and support Friends of Hudson’s regulatory challenges to St. Lawrence Cement. Members have been very generous in donating items to this auction. A few of the items that will be auctioned include:

* Gift certificates for a wide range of restaurants, shops and services such as gardening, interior design consultation, massage, financial consultation and legal services.

* Rugs, vintage dolls and puppets

* Vintage local photographs

* A custom mural, 48” square, by Patricia Powers of Grey Dun Studio (on wall or canvas)

You can get more information about the auction by clicking HERE. Not all items in the auction appear on the website, so there will be many surprises.

With the adjudication of issues such as noise and traffic beginning this fall, your generous participation at this auction will help Friends of Hudson raise the funds necessary for this next phase of the process.
